Meet Killer Joe’s Juno Temple

Juno Temple. Easy name to remember, and there’s a good chance you’re going to be seeing more of it in the near future. The British actress is quickly carving out a place for herself in Hollywood, racking up parts in blockbusters and indie flicks alike. Her latest film—William Freidkin’s Killer Joe—finds her playing opposite Matthew McConaughey and Emile Hirsch in a bleak but oddly comedic crime thriller. Take a look at the following bio-gallery and get to know Temple before the film hits theaters.

Temple is from Somerset, England.

Her parents both work in film, and one of her earliest roles was a part in the 2000 film Pandaemonium, directed by her father, Julian Temple.

Her breakout role came in 2006 with a part in Notes On a Scandal, starring Cate Blanchett and Judi Dench. It was only her second feature film.

Temple is best known for her roles in the films Dirty Girl and St. Trinians.

She recently appeared in The Dark Knight Rises as a streetwise Gotham kid.

She has a handful of projects currently in production, including the film Maleficient, in which she'll star alongside Angelina Jolie.

Temple currently resides in Los Angeles. We think she'll fit right in.
