Last week, Oculto transformed Miami’s Vizcaya Museum and Gardens into “Garden of Hedon”— a masked, secret garden event where Made Man and hundreds of Miamians took part in a night of mischief while exploring the beer brand’s personality of intrigue and seduction. Take a look inside!
Oculto, a unique six percent ABV lager blended with beer aged on Mexican tequila barrel staves, launched in the US just this year and is now brewed in Houston and Williamsburg. It's infused with blue agave and lime to offer an alcohol fusion beer that is as strong as it is bold.
“Oculto” means “hidden” or “waiting to be found” in Spanish, so the brand is marked by its signature mask found on every bottle, which depicts a sense of discovery.
Likewise, masked guests were guided through the secret oasis, each with a unique immersive experience, collecting tarot cards along the way and mingling with living statues and long-legged stilt-women...
...Who were also masked.
A bathtub photo booth was available for guests, as well, because... Why not?
Mysteriously-clad guests dressed in all black for the event, giving way for the neon-lit surprise performance by DJ Kalendr.
DJ Kalendr was a new name for many, but a few Ocultos deep and guests danced like they knew every beat. Maybe the dancer in us all was, too, "waiting to be found."
