If you’re a fan of NBC’s Thursday night comedy lineup, you’re probably a fan of Rashida Jones. With good reason, too, because the Parks and Recreation actress displays that rare blend of comedy skill and crazy good looks that tends to make for an all-around positive viewing experience. Much like in the following bio-gallery…
Jones is the daughter of music mogul Quincy Jones and model Peggy Lipton.
Her older sister, Kidada Jones, dated Tupac Shakur from 1995 until the rapper’s death in 1996.
Jones’ first professional acting gig was a part in the mini-series The Last Don, based on the novel by Mario Puzo.
Early in her career, she had a recurring role on Boston Public, and appeared in two episodes of The Chapelle Show.
She gained mainstream attention when she joined the cast of The Office in 2006.
Jones is best known now for her role as Ann Perkins on Parks and Recreation. Which is, of course, part of the reason we’ll be tuning in tonight.
