It’s Grammy nomination time. That means time for a lot of head shaking over who got nominated and, of course, looking forward to performances from some of the hottest babes in music. We’re not here to wade into who got love and who got snubbed. We’re just here to give you some delicious eye candy—and fun facts—in celebration. The Grammy Awards take place on February 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Enjoy the show.
Katy Perry: Does anyone ever get tired of looking at Katy Perry? Because we sure don’t. Her song “Firework” was nominated for “Record of the Year.”
Lady Gaga: Gaga used to have a partner called Lady Starlight. No word on what happened to her.
Rihanna: She isn’t even 25 years old and Rihanna is already one of the best-selling recording artists of all time. She’s right between Van Halen and Prince.
Nicki Minaj: Minaj holds the distinction of being the first artist with seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. We’re also really hoping that the pink hair thing becomes a full-on fad.
Robyn: Robyn furnished the voice of Anne-Marie for the Swedish dub of All Dogs Go To Heaven.
Corinne Baily Rae: Rae has a degree in English Literature, but decided to pursue music after working as a hat check girl in a London jazz club.
Beyonce: In addition to being a singer and actress, Beyonce owns her own cosmetology school in Brooklyn with her mother.
Kelly Rowland: When not singing, Rowland is a panel judge on the British version of The X Factor.
Taylor Swift: Swift first tried to get a record contract when she was 11 years old, pounding pavement in Nashville with a demo made up of her singing karaoke.
Carrie Underwood: Underwood is the first woman to win the Country Music Awards’ prestigious Entertainer of the Year accolade two years in a row.
Christina Aguilera: Aguilera was nominated for her work on the soundtrack to Burlesque, which we highly recommend you watch... on mute.
