The 15 Hottest Country Music Babes

The big winners at this week’s Country Music Awards were Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Grace Potter Because while Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn were fine in their day, they’ve got nothing on the current crop of country music beauties (including Jessica James, above). Here are some of our favorite stars, plus a couple babes emeritus, if you will.

Jessica James: Formerly known as “Jessie James,” she might be the only woman in country music today who claims Christina Aguilera as an influence.

Carrie Underwood: Underwood began her country music career in earnest after winning the fourth season of American Idol.

Cheyenne Kimball: Kimball won America’s Most Talented Kid when she was 12 years old. Now she’s 21 and crazy hot.

Martina McBride: McBride has been called the “Celine Dion of Country,” but we won’t hold it against her when she looks this good.

Kellie Pickler: Another American Idol alum, Pickler has also appeared on 90210.

Miranda Lambert: While some of these babes have used American Idol to catapult themselves to stardom, Lambert got her start on Nashville Idol.

Grace Potter: Potter hails from Vermont and isn’t really a country star, but she won a CMA for a duet with Kenny Chesney and she’s hot. Good enough for us.

Sara Evans: Evans had a nasty divorce that included accusations of widespread infidelity. She settled for at least $500,000 in alimony payments to her former husband. Oops.

Jessica Harp: Harp sang the national anthem for the first ever live broadcast on the NFL Network.

Julie Roberts: Roberts loves blues as well as country, an interest she picked up playing in nursing homes during high school.

Julianne Hough: Hough is better known for her performances on Dancing With The Stars, but she can sing.

Leann Rimes: Rimes got her start in show business on Star Search with Ed McMahon. Now she’s probably richer than a Publisher’s Clearinghouse Sweepstakes winner.

Taylor Swift: Rolling Stone called Swift “the new Morrissey.” We can’t begin to imagine what that’s supposed to mean, mostly because we’re too busy ogling her to think about it.

Shania Twain: Canadian country music is kind of a weird thing to contemplate, but Twain’s been doing it nearly 20 years now.

Faith Hill: We’re so happy Hank Williams lost his NFL promo gig. We’re even happier Hill and her thigh-high boots kept hers.
