July 20-25 in Key West is the Hemingway Days festival. Established to celebrate the lifestyle and works of the author that made his famous home there in the 30s.  Hemingway Days includes lookalike contests, literary contests and readings, a Key West Marlin Tournament, and a museum exhibit of rare Hemingway memorabilia. There’s even a running of the bulls.

Hemingway embodied the adventurous, warrior-poet spirit we embrace here at Made Man. He was an artist, a foodie, a world traveler, and the man could grow one hell of a beard.

So, start planning your Florida vacation, head on down to Key West, maybe get yourself a stylish writing desk, and live life like Papa – drink, play, fish, relax, and (maybe) write a little.
