During a recent test drive of the 2015 Ford Mustang line-up in Los Angeles, I found myself thinking a lot about the car’s star appeal in Hollywood. Since 1964, the Mustang has earned nearly 3,000 credits in films and TV shows. And with all the buzz around the new model, the first Mustang to be sold globally by Ford Motor Co., I’m sure there are a lot more leading roles in the works.
With that in mind, we decided to come up with a few of our own movie ideas highlighting some of the features we find appealing about the new line-up, which now includes a new 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder model in addition to the V6 and V8.
These flicks may not be Academy Award contenders, but that’s only because there’s no statuette (yet) for Best Supporting Muscle Car.
