Hot Horror: The Girls of ‘Scream 4′

Fifteen years after audiences first met the gravelly-voiced killer known as Ghostface, the Scream franchise is still going strong. With the fourth installment opening this week, it’s time to take a look at the ladies of the cast, which includes the next generation of horror-flick hotties and a few of the franchise’s favorite alums. These are the gorgeous girls of Scream 4:

Lucy Hale

Best known for her work on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, Lucy Hale is making the jump to the big screen with Scream 4. She’ll also be making the jump to “oh my god Google her” status among men everywhere.

Shenae Grimes

Shenae Grimes is yet another example of the U.S. stealing all of Canada’s hot chicks. The Toronto native struck out for Hollywood a few years ago and hasn’t looked back since.

Anna Paquin

A True Blood favorite and former X-Men poster girl, Anna Paquin has the type of cult following that many actresses can only dream of. She also has the type of sex appeal that many actresses can only dream of, so she’s pretty much a winner all around.

Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell might claim to be a dork, but there’s nothing nerdy-looking about this self-declared Star Wars fanatic. The force is strong with this one.

Aimee Teegarden

A former model for the likes of Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch, Aimee Teegarden is professionally trained in the art of being really, really good looking. Whether those skills translate to scream-queen ability remains to be seen, but we’re going to go with “probably.” She’s already proven her chops as a rebellious teenager on Friday Night Lights, which is basically the same thing as running in fear from a crazed serial killer. Right?

Britt Robertson

Britt Robertson has quite the resume for her age. Just 20-years-old, she’s racked up a healthy list of film and television roles over the last few years. Having scored a part in a flick like Scream 4, she probably won’t be stopping anytime soon.

Neve Campbell

Neve Campbell was the original Scream girl. It was her talent and on-screen relatability (and also hotness) that helped turn that first film into the successful ongoing franchise that it is today.

Alison Brie

Just about every man in the world is at least somewhat obsessed with Alison Brie, and for good reason. The doe-eyed beauty — who concurrently appears on AMC’s Mad Men and NBC’s Community — has the unique ability to go from quiet, shy girl to full-blown sexy beast in four seconds flat. That’s talent.

Courteney Cox

Courteney Cox has seen a real career boost recently with the success of her show Cougar Town and the fact that men everywhere are once again being exposed to the immense levels of gorgeousness she gives off anytime she does anything. Keep it up, Courteney.

Hayden Panettiere

The girl who captured the world’s attention by donning a cheerleader costume and refusing to die on ABC’s Heroes, Hayden Panettiere is the kind of actress we love to see: Attractive, talented and frequently photographed in revealing swimwear. Emma Roberts

In recent years, Emma Roberts has consistently ranked among Hollywood’s most notable up-and-coming actresses. It probably helps that she belongs to the illustrious Roberts acting clan (which includes big-name stars Eric and Julia), but this is one case where we’re totally cool with nepotism.

Marielle Jaffe

Another model-turned-actress, Marielle Jaffe is just starting out in the world of film, this being her third role to date. Something tells us she’s going to do just fine.

Heather Graham

As if the cast couldn’t get any hotter, the filmmakers go ahead and throw Heather Graham in the mix, too. Thanks for that, guys. When’s Scream 5 coming out?
