On days like this when its snowing like crazy, cold outside, and have 2 semis of trees to unload, I think of the days when I don’t have to work or make money. I look forward to the days I can do anything I want and go anywhere I want. I haven’t been retired so I really can’t make a good comparison of the two. I know in college you have your youth, the girls, and the parties. It also only lasted 4 and a half years. With it you have classes, no money, and at the time I couldn’t wait to be done at the end. With retirement you have plenty of money (hopefully) but if I move to Kona, Hawaii like I want, I’ll miss my children and their families. You also have the deteriorating health to deal with. Other than that I can’t think of any negatives. I have a beautiful wife to spend retirement with so the ladies aren’t going to be a problem but the parties are gone. One thing hasn’t changed, I still like to watch the young ladies dance. I’m getting old, but I’m not dead.
