The Mecca of refined sexuality, the Playboy Mansion, isn’t really the Playboy Mansion. The original mansion isn’t in the sun-soaked hills of Hollywood. It’s in downtown Chicago, and hasn’t been the den of the bunnies in decades. In 1974, Hefner donated the it to the Art Institute of Chicago, and shortly after, it was converted to seven exclusive single family homes.
One of the luxury units is currently for sale – it’s going for $2.9 million dollars. It’s got 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and overlooks the mansion’s gardens. Interested parties can check out the listing here.
