Some may question the point of an external keyboard for a tablet. But everywhere I go, I see people using tablets instead of laptops, and they’re not just browsing the web. People are using tablets to write screenplays, take notes and update their blogs. Arguably, these tasks can be done with Android‘s virtual keyboard. But would you really want to tap out 3,000 words on screen? You can probably write the great American novel on Logitech’s new tablet keyboard ($69), which is compact, set with decently spaced and lightly-sprung chiclet keys and has a stand that doubles as a case. It’s lighter than a netbook at less than a pound and a half and works with all Bluetooth capable tablets that run Android 3.0 or later. There’s also an iPad version. You know, if you’re into that. Get the Android version here or the iPad version here.
