We’ve written before about joining the mile high club. Some of us have also joined it. But, if you don’t want to take every date you’ve got on an airplane until things work out, you can join the club in a sort of proxy sense by buying the ever-awesome Moto Art’s new Mile High Bed.
Designed from the two rear stabilizers from a DC-9 and the inner flap of a C-130, the bed is an impressive 11 fet long, and seven and a half feet long. It’s even got emergency exit lighting (in the case of loss of pressure in the cabin) in the form of internal LED lighting under a Plexiglas shield. Pricing is by request only, so if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.
