According to rumors flying through the auto industry, in 2013 the Mini line-up will include not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven…but ten different models. That’ll include the classic three-door hatchback, a new Clubman wagon and wagon-sized beast called the Traveler. All models will be on a new Beemer platform called UKL1 that could accommodate a turbocharged 2.0-liter 230 hp engine as well as all-wheel, hybrid and electric options.

So what’ll the other seven Mini models be? We really have no idea, but we can only hope it includes the Rocket-man concept car pictured above. And one of them sure as hell better be an El Camino-man. It could look something like this…

Anyway, the new models are still a couple years off, so in the meantime, feel free to read a review of the new Countryman by our own Grant Davis. Stripped of superfluous options, it sounds pretty badass.
