The 10 best Brazilian soccer players are a constantly changing group due to the depth of talent in the vast South American nation. The current crop feature many stars and while they may not be in the spotlight for long they deserve to be recognized as among the best soccer players in the World.

  1. Robinho (AC MIlan): Robino is very small for a soccer player but his skill cancels out his lack of size. He is a tough guy to get the ball from and his dazzling runs continue to create goals. One of the best Brazilians soccer player in recent decades
  2. Ronaldinho (AC Milan): He was at one time regarded as the best soccer player in the World but his stock has fallen a bit in recent years. He missed the World Cup due to fitness concerns but AC MIlan owner Berlusconi says he still has what it takes to be a star.
  3. Kaka (Real Madrid): Unpopular in his home country for being too European in style, Kaka is regarded as one of the best soccer players in the world. He scores great goals but his clever passes are his real threat.
  4. Julio Cesar (Inter): Brazil have never had good Goalkeepers and Inter have always had the best defense so the thought of a Brazilian goalie at Inter seems insane. Cesar is no ordinary Brazilian keeper though and is believed by many to be the best Brazilian goalkeeper of all time.
  5. Daniel Alves (Barcelona): He does not quite have Roberto Carlos' free kick skills but he does share his love for abandoning defense and joining the attack. One of the stars of Barcelona's recent success, Alves is one of the best defenders to come out of Brazil.
  6. Luis Fabiano (Sevilla): Like Ronaldo before him, Fabiano has faced criticism for carrying some excess weight but it does not seem to slow him down. He is one of the biggest soccer stars in the Spanish league and is a lethal striker of the ball.
  7. Maicon (Inter): Perhaps the best Brazilian soccer player in the modern game, Maicon is a defender with an eye for goal. He keeps things tight with Cesar at Inter and the two work well for the national side as well.
  8. Felipe Melo (Juventus): The hatchet man of the Brazil team had a poor World Cup but do not be fooled as he is a class act. He stars for Juventus in Italy and is one of the best defensive midfielders in the game today.
  9. Lucio (Inter): He does not get the credit he deserves because he is surrounded be equally good players but Lucio is a rock for Inter. He has great ball control and is a natural soccer player and top Brazilian defender.
  10. Julio Baptista (Roma): Unpredictable but fun to watch, Baptista has tremendous skills but sometimes is a little over confident and in Italy they like conservative soccer players. He is a star though for Brazil and one of their ten best players.
