If you're looking to find the 10 best feel good songs, then feast your eyes upon these ten classic selections. Aside from reflectiveness and the ability to project one's emotions through, one goal of the music medium is to make you feel good, after all. These songs are what help keep night clubs in business, aside from the cute girls and the tasty drinks. If Will Smith, Janet Jackson, Karyn White, and the Spice Girls aren't enough to get you moving, then you might want to recheck your pulse.

  1. "Top of the World" by Shonen Knife. This remake of the classic 1970s song by The Carpenters does its original proper justice. The Asian girl rock trio known as Shonen Knife have put together a very upbeat and explosive rock track that is very melodic and colorful. This feel good song does make you feel on 'top of the world.'
  2. "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" by Will Smith. Borrowing a sample from the 1970s classic jam, "Greatest Dancer," Will Smith's "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" became an instant pop culture and music icon whenever it comes to the club scene and dancing period. This hip-hoppy rhythm is bound to make you feel good.
  3. "The Way I Feel About You" by Karyn White. This fantastic early 1990s hit boldly declares no more cloudy days and sunshine is here to stay in its chorus. Its tone, rhythm, and vocals match this attitude down to a perfect 'T'. Karyn White has pieced together an awesome R&B feel-good classic.
  4. "Alright" by Janet Jackson. Released off of Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation 1814" album in the early 1990s, "Alright" is a feel good song and a hot dance commodity all rolled into one. Janet Jackson does it again as usual. The song commands you to the dance floor right from the opening few seconds.
  5. "Bizarre Love Triangle (12'' Remastered Mix)" by New Order. The twelve-inch remastered version of this 80s jam was originally featured on the motion picture soundtrack to "Hot Tub Time Machine." This new version of the song successfully outdoes its original counterpart with epic scope and 'feel goodness'.
  6. "Back and Forth" by Aaliyah. Aaliyah's breakout debut single, "Back and Forth," lit up the charts and the many club scenes all around upon its initial release in the early to mid 1990s. To this day, it still has that very same effect and charm. "Back and Forth" will rock your body and make you feel good.
  7. "Why You Getting Funky On Me" by Today. Originally released off of the motion picture soundtrack for the first "House Party" movie, Today's "Why You Getting Funky On Me" has all the right ingredients to get the step in your pep going on the dance floor. This feel good song is one of the best new jack swing jams ever.
  8. "Feel So Good" by Mase. Featuring a sample from the 70s party hit "Hollywood Swinging" by Kool and the Gang, Mase's "Feel So Good" makes full use of its juicy sample by transforming into an even uber party jam with thumping bass, sick loops, a catchy hook, and enough ear candy to get your body moving.
  9. "Casanova" by LeVert. This late 1980s R&B classic packs a tranquilizing mid-tempo rhythm and edgy bass combined with a smooth laid back attitude. This feel good song is definitely one for the couples to bounce along to in the club scene.
  10. "Wannabe" by The Spice Girls. This jaunty feel good song gets to business right from the get go. Full of appropriate pop music fluff, commandeering raps, bubble-gum sounds, and sugar-coated hooks, the Spice Girls' "Wannabe" has come to be known as the second "Macarena" of the 1990s decade.
