10 Best NBA 3-Point Shooters Ever

The NBA has produced many great 3-point shooters, but who are the best NBA 3-point shooters ever? This list was one of the hardest to create because there have been so many great 3-point shooters in the NBA’s history. Here are the 10 best NBA 3-point shooters ever.

  1. Larry Bird. Larry Bird is not only the best NBA-3 point shooter ever, but he is also one of the greatest NBA players ever. Larry Bird was a power forward and at 6’11, he was the last person in the world you would think should be shooting 3-pointers. Bird has won the NBA 3-point shooter contest three times in 1986, 1987, and in 1988. His career 3-point average is 37%.
  2. Steve Kerr. Steve Kerr was Mark Price on steroids when it came to 3-point percentages. Steve Kerr has the highest all-time 3-point percentage of 45%. Kerr has also broken NCAA 3-point percentage records in a single season at 57%.
  3. Mark Price. Mark Price is not only one hell of a 3-point shooter, but he is also an excellent free throw shooter. Price currently holds the all-time free throw percentage in the NBA at 90.4% and his career 3-point average is 40%
  4. Reggie Miller. Miller loves to shoot threes. Why? He has made a total of 2,560 3-pointers in his NBA career and he holds the record for the most 3-pointers made. Reggie Miller was also one of the greatest clutch players, and he would not miss a three if you shot him with a bazooka.
  5. Steve Nash. Nash is the only NBA player who is active that holds a 3-point shooter percentage of 42%
  6. Ray Allen. He trails behind Reggie Miller for the most 3-pointers made in his career at 2,299 3-pointers. Ray Allen has also broken other 3-point shooter records in his glorious career.
  7. Dennis Scott. Scott holds the record for the most 3-point shots made in a single season when he was on the Orlando Magic in the 1995-1996 NBA season.
  8. Tim Legler. He once held a single season 3-point percentage of 52% as a Washington Bullet (now known as the Washington Wizards) in the 1995-1996 NBA season.
  9. Dan Majerle. Majerle is one of the best NBA 3-point shooters ever in an NBA playoff series. 
  10. Vernon Maxwell. Maxwell has a career 3-point percentage of 32% and one of the best NBA 3-point shooters ever to play.
