Upon retirement, you may consider moving to one of these 10 best retirement cities. You should select a place that has all of the fun things that you have always wanted to do. Find a place that will fit your lifestyle needs, as well as one that provides plenty of activities and sights to see.

  1. The first of the ten best retirement cities is Port Charlotte, Florida. In this city, almost half of the houses sit on canals and waterways.   6. The sixth of the ten best retirement cities is Boulder City, Nevada. The place is gamble-free, but it's only twenty miles away from Las Vegas if you do want to gamble. There are numerous activities to take part in. Some of these include: hiking, mountain biking, swimming and golfing. You can also check out the Hoover Dam, which is only six miles away.
  7. If you're looking for a vibrant place to move to, consider Savannah, Georgia. Here, there is a bustling downtown. There are also 22 public parks, as well as numerous art galleries scattered throughout the city. The city also has a property tax freeze, which means that homes are assessed upon purchase, and that tax rates won't go up until the home is sold.

  10. The final city on the list is Virginia Beach, Virginia. The city sits right along the coast. There is also a National Wildlife Refuge that residents can check out. For golf fans, there are eleven courses that are located throughout the city.
