10 Best Vocal Trance Songs

With the endless stream of trance songs past and present, it can be difficult to determine the 10 best vocal trance songs. Many are unsure of what actually constitutes trance music and mix up other genres like electro or techno in with trance. There is, however, no doubt as to the glory of vocal trance. It only takes a drive in the rain late at night or a night of writing a term paper due the next day to be fully aware of how inspiring or depressing vocal trance can be.

  1. "Insomnia" by Faithless-Released in 1995 in the UK, "Insomnia" became an instant dance hit around the world. While directed at circuit party goers who had many unwanted late nights this song appealed to the masses with its hypnotic beat.

    Created by one of the greats of trance, the song along with the video are both captivating. Featuring Carla Werner on vocals, the video follows a fashion model returning to innocence and then to outer space.
