10 Famous Females

While it's hard to narrow the list down to ten, here are several famous females. Three of these ladies are larger than life on the big screen, another three tempt sports fans everywhere, the next three make beautiful music and one lovely lady is a model and television star. Each lady is unique in her own way and is truly one of many famous females.

  1. Megan Fox—Moviegoers have been drooling over this starlet ever since she moved into the movie industry in 2004's "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen." Since then she has been the object of affection in movies like "Transformers" and the more recent "Jonah Hex."
  2. Angelina Jolie—Whether she's playing Lara Croft, Mrs. Smith or Evelyn Salt in her latest flick, she draws men into theaters in large numbers. In addition to her movie career, she is also a famous female for her humanitarian efforts and her role as an adoptive parent.
  3. Jessica Alba—One obvious choice for famous females, this actress has been in dance movies ("Honey"), super hero action films ("Fantastic Four") and several comedies ("Good Luck Chuck" and "The Love Guru"). At the MTV Movie Awards a few years ago, she won an award for “sexiest performance” for her role in "Sin City."
  4. Demi Moore—She gives new meaning to the phrase "oldie by goodie." She is considered a famous female for her movie roles which include films like, "G.I. Jane," "Ghost" and, of course, "Striptease."
  5. Maria Sharapova—This famous female comes from the world of tennis. However, it may not be her tennis game that brings her popularity. A feature was done on her for a "Sports Illustrated" Swimsuit Edition.
  6. Danica Patrick—In the midst of a sport completely ruled by men, Danica Patrick has been a standout on the NASCAR circuit. Like other famous females, she has taken standout photos for "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition," "Shape" and "FHM."
  7. Jennie Finch—This United States softball player has no problem joining the ranks of other famous females. She was a three time All-American pitcher at the University of Arizona. She won a gold medal in 2004, silver medal in 2008 and is an advocate for softball being reinstated in the Olympics.
  8. Lady Gaga—If you haven't heard about this famous female, chances are you've been hiding under a rock for at least the past year. With outrageous outfits and costumes, Lady Gaga has taken the music industry by storm with singles like, “Bad Romance” and “Poker Face.”
  9. Katy Perry—This famous female probably got your attention after she “Kissed a Girl” and liked it. From a conservative family, Katy Perry continues to provide interesting song content and lyrics as well as interesting ideas on fashion.
  10. Beyonce—Another beautiful famous female, Beyonce began her career as part of the group Destiny's Child. After branching out on her own, she has become a real star. Her hits include “Crazy in Love” and “Single Ladies.”
