10 Hottest Bond Girls

With news that the 23rd installment of the James Bond franchise of films is back on schedule for a late 2012 release, it's time to revisit the 10 hottest Bond girls. Daniel Craig will return and play the part of the iconic super spy, 007, for the third time, but there is no word of the plot or other casting decisions. Whatever beauties are chosen to appear alongside Craig in the new film, they surely will have a hard time measuring up to the lookers who have appeared in the 22 previous versions as the ubiquitous Bond girls. So who are the hottest Bond girls ever? Just read below to find out.

  1. Ursula Andress as Honey Rider in "Dr. No" (1962) – The original Bond girl, the performance of the Swiss actress still sets the standard some 50 years later. Her entrance into the film halfway through the movie is truly unforgettable as she emerges from the surf in a stunning white bikini.
  2. Barbara Bach as Anya Amasova in "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977) -  As KGB agent XXX, the exotic looking American gives a memorable and sexy performance as one of the first liberated Bond girls.

  3. Halle Berry as Jinx in "Die Another Day" (2002) – Her bikini scene paying homage to Ursula Andress' Honey Rider is as sizzling as Berry's body in "Die Another Day."
  4. Maud Adams as Andrea Anders in "The Man With the Golden Gun" (1974) – The Swede, Adams, appeared in two Bond films, including the role of Octopussy in the film of the same name, but it's for her performance in "The Man With the Golden Gun" that garners her the number four spot. Why? Her role was much more appealing, she has a sexy scene with Bond and she's almost ten years younger.

  5. Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore in "Goldfinger" (1964) – With perhaps the best moniker of any Bond girl, the Brit actress portrays a woman who is hot, intelligent and can kick major butt.

  6. Lana Wood as Plenty O'Toole in "Diamonds Are Forever" (1971) – Wood's Plenty O'Toole gets about two minutes of screen time, but what a two minutes they are. Natalie Wood's little sister shows off her ample cleavage in a casino scene wearing a purple satin dress with plunging neckline.

  7. Shirley Eaton as Jill Masterson in "Goldfinger" (1964) – Another short-but-memorable performance by a Bond girl, Eaton's stay in the film is only about five minutes long, but is truly iconic. She is killed by having her whole body painted in gold leaf and dies from skin asphyxiation after crossing Goldfinger.

  8. Denise Richards as Dr. Christmas Jones in "The World is Not Enough" (1999) – It's suspension of reality time as Richards plays a nuclear chemist (stop laughing) whose performance was criticized for not being credible. Well, that much is surely true. Also, her outfits of tank tops and hot pants were also criticized, but that's what gets her on the list along with her incredible hotness. Blame the casting director and not Denise.

  9. Tanya Roberts as Stacey Sutton in "A View to a Kill" (1985) – Many younger readers may know Roberts only as Midge Pinciotti from "That 70's Show," but she was actually one of the sexiest actresses during the late 70's and early 80's and her hotness was on full display in "A View to a Kill."

  10. Famke Janssen as Xenia Onatopp in "GoldenEye" (1995) – First off, what a great Bond girl name. The Dutch actress, Janssen, plays a sexy former Soviet fighter pilot and current crime syndicate villainess. She derives sexual satisfaction from killing by crushing people between her thighs. You read that right— between her thighs. Combine the great character with her exotic looks and how could she not make the list?
