10 Models Who Act

Cameron Diaz. The best model who acts, Cameron Diaz sure has made a name for herself. From roles ranging from "The Holiday," "Charlie's Angels," and her big break "The Mask," Cameron Diaz did make a great choice from modeling to acting. She will definitely be around for quite awhile in many films to come. 

Ali Larter. This model chose a wise path. She has been in many shows and films that have been seen mainly by nerds. She plays a super powered human in "Heroes" and kills zombies in "Resident Evil: Apocalypse." Ali Larter is a gem in the acting world with her great smile and blonde hair. She may not be in big blockbuster hits, but she sure has made her claim in Hollywood.

Rebecca Romijn. This beauty took her beauty from modeling and joined the nerd community. Geeks everyone are very appreciative of this lovely model that joined the Marvel Universe in the "X-Men" trilogy and "The Punisher." Lately you've seen her on television starring in "Ugly Betty" and "Eastwick." Thank you Rebecca. 

Milla Jovovich. Milla is one model you don't want to mess with. You can see her killing zombies in the "Resident Evil" films, and in "The Fifth Element" she saves the galaxy from alien scum. Milla is a pretty action oriented actress, but we won't hold that against her. 

Kim Basinger. A Bond girl, a temptress and a mother, this model who acts has played many roles. Kim played Domino in "Never Say Never Again," and she grabbed our attention in "L.A. Confidential" with an Oscar. Think she is glad she went into acting?

Cybill Shepherd. Modeling is just a thing of the past for this great actress. Cybill won three Golden Globes and was nominated for various Emmy Awards. She is best known for her roles as Jacy in "The Last Picture Show" and Betsy in Martin Scorsese's "Taxi Drive." This model turned actress has had a huge success acting and probably made the right decision. 

Maggie Q. An Asian beauty who has once was a model has starred in international roles, but can also be seen in the U.S. She gave Bruce Willis a run for his money in "Live Free or Die Hard," and she taught us to play ping pong in "Balls of Fury." 

Famke Janssen. Another model entered the Marvel Universe. As Jean Grey in "X-Men" she was the psychic beauty grabbing all the mutants attention. Famke has also appeared in television's "Nip/Tuck."

Brooke Shields. Brooke Shields is one model who acts that draws our attention in every role she plays. Nominated for two Golden Globe Awards for her role in the television show "Suddenly Susan," proves she has more talent that just pure beauty. More of a television actress, Shields has gone above and beyond in her acting career, which overshadows her career in modeling.  

Bridget Moynahan. Maybe she is memorable for her modeling, but she has done well for herself since joining Hollywood. Bridget has been seen in films like "Coyote Ugly," "I, Robot," and "The Sum of All Fears." The lovely brunette has a small career in the industry, but still has a large acting career ahead of her.
