- Tip #3: Buy the proper protective gear: this is as important as the skateboard. You need the have the proper fitted protective gear no matter your intent or desired level. Purchase a helmet at a minimum, period.
- Tip #4: Learn the basics: you need to master the basic moves on a skateboard. Learning how to properly ride and maneuver will raise the interest level tremendously.
