- Drink plenty of water. Drink at least three quarts of water a day, water should be the first thing you drink when you wake up. Your body is made of water and will not stay healthy without adequate amounts. Drinking large amounts of water every day will require a bathroom visit at least every hour at first. When the water has flushed your system of impurities, your bathroom visits will taper off. Water is also the best diuretic, the more you drink, the less your body will retain.
- Meditate. Daily meditation will allow you to dump all of the day's trash and prepare you for the next day. Meditation will also reduce stress which will assist in helping you keep your mind and body healthy.
- Exercise. Doing cardiovascular exercise is a must, cardio is the number one way to keeping your heart healthy. Do not run marathons, just get your heart rate up for at least ten minutes, six days a week. That's one hour per week. Do some strength training exercises also, like push-ups.
- Rest. Most men will sacrifice rest to work overtime, or just hangout. This is an unhealthy practice. Without at least eight hours of sleep a night it will be hard to fight off or bounce back from an unexpected illness. When you rest, your body and mind repairs itself.
- Eat less red meat. Red meat makes your body sluggish, it takes your body a very long time to digest and eliminate red meat. When your body is slow to digest the foods you eat, you may not be able to have frequent bowel movements when can lead to bad health.
- Have healthy relationships. Being around positive people will make you happy and help you stay physically healthy. You will not be able to avoid people that are less than positive. When you meditation you can dump undesirable situations to maintain the proper balance of positives and negatives.
- Eat right. Eat whole foods like grains, vegetables, nuts and fruits. Eat less chicken, eat turkey as an alternative. Eat more seafood, like salmon and cod. Limit the amount of seafood you eat that does not have scales.
- Get a hobby. Choose a creative hobby, everyone has a creative side. Pick something that you are better than average at as your hobby, you should love doing it. Work with your hobby at least once a week and always keep it in view.
- Observe nature. If your home is an apartment in a large city, your immediate surroundings should include plants. Buy a couple of tree plants and grow them. Plants and nature will remind you of the beautiful world you live in no matter how stressful your day has been.
- Sex. Have good healthy sex, sex is a very strong and natural instinct in humans. If you don't have a sex partner and aren't looking, pleasure yourself and feel good about it no matter what, it's your body.
