The 3 most best running trainers are most recognized by their sterling athletes which have won them elite status and record renown. All track and field sprinters themselves which dignified themselves through personal high-achieving careers, they have spurred on their trainees to perform well. They have influenced the face of running, keeping their students on track to do exploits. 

  1. Pablo S. Mc. Neil is a best running trainer who coached Usain Bolt, a World Champion, Olympic and World Record holder. Having had a running career himself between 1964 to 1968, Mc. Neil groomed Usain Bolt into one of the most promising and high-performing sprinters in the world. Both hailing from Jamaica, the running trainer has dedicated himself to helping youths in the field of Track and Field. 
  2. John Smith is a best running trainer, coaching renowned  athletes such as Maurice Greene, Inger Miller, Ato Boldon, Carmelita Jeter and Jon Drummond. Ranked as one of the most famous world sprinters himself in the 1970, he continues to inspire UCLA athletes, training them in sprints and hurdles. He organized the HSI (Hudson and Smith International) sprint club with Emmanual Hudson. He officially resigned coaching at UCLA in 2001. 
  3. Bob Kersee stands as one of the three best running trainers, coaching star athletes such as Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Gail Devers, Florence Griffith-Joyner, Sherri Howard, Kerron Clement, Andre Phillips, Michelle Perry, Dawn Harper, several of the fastest and most agile Track and Fielders. A former hurdler, he functioned as a Northridge University and UCLA coach for some years. The USA Track and Field Association voted him best coach in 2005.
