Cat Litter Cake
Now, not for the faint of heart:
- 1 Box of German Chocolate or Spice Cake Mix (prepared as directed)
- 1 Box of White Cake Mix (Prepared as directed)
- 1 Pkg (12-16 oz) White Sandwich Cookies
- 1 Large Pkg. Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix (prepared as directed and chilled)
- 12 Small Tootsie Rolls
- Green food coloring
- Crumble cookies in a blender or processor. Add just a couple drops of food coloring to a small amount of cookie crumbs and mix with a fork.
- When cakes are cooled, crumble them into a large bowl and toss with half of the plain cookie crumbs and enough pudding to make the mixture moist, not gooey.
- Dump the cake mixture into a serving pan (NEW kitty litter box, if you dare).
- Unwrap the Tootsie Rolls and heat slightly to soften so that you can mold them into "poopy" shapes. Bury some of the shapes in the cake mixture and drape a few over the top of the pan.
- Sprinkle the rest of the cookie crumbs over the cake and lightly scatter the colored cookie crumbs over the top.
- To serve, place the cake box in the center of the table on top of a newspaper.
