- Glen Rice. Glen Rice was a fantastic NBA and college player. His outside shot provided the Heats with five solid seasons of more than 20 points a game. He was then traded for the next Miami Heat player on this list.
- Alonzo Mourning. He holds the franchise records in games, rebounds, and blocks. A seven time All-Star, Mourning won a title with the Heat in 2006. He had a dominating presence on both sides of the floor. His number is now retired for the Heat.
- Tim Hardaway. Hardway's #33 also is retired for the MIami Heat. Hardaway was a five-time All-Star and was known for his crossover dribble, and scoring and play making ability.
