5 Best OSU Beavers Football Payers Ever
It is quite difficult to choose the 5 best OSU Beavers football players ever, due to the success over the years for the program. OSU has developed some amazing players. In choosing the five best OSU Beavers football players, we will use three past and two present players to make up the talented group.
- Vic Sears. Sears was an offensive lineman primarily for the Philadelphia Eagles. He has two championships and is a member of the NFL 1940s All-Decade Team, among other career highlights. He tops the list of the best OSU Beavers football players.
- George Svendsen. Svendson was a center for the Green Bay Packers, holding one championship in 1936. A member of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, Svendsen is also a member of the NFL 1930s All-Decade Team.
- Len Younce. Younce is another of the outstanding OSU Beavers, playing a number of positions for the New York Giants. Later coaching for OSU, Younce can be found on the National Football League's 1940s All-Decade Team with fellow OSU Beaver Vic Sears.

- Chad Ochocinco. Formerly known as Chad Johnson, Ochocinco represents one of the best wide receivers in football today. This former OSU Beaver has six Pro Bowl selections in his time with the Cincinnati Bengals. Ochocinco and Jackson, along with Younce, Svendsen, and Sears, represent some of the best football players to come from the OSU Beavers program, which is quite an accomplishment.
