Here are the 5 best skateboard decks. When picking a Skateboard deck, there are many things that go into the choice.  You want to look at the strength of the board, length, width, design, and weight.  Your choice of skateboard deck will depend on the style that you skate.  Here are the best five best companies that will make skateboard decks that have a wide array of boards.  Any skater will be able to find a deck with these companies.

  1. Plan B:  The Company was made in 1991 and has many diverse skaters on it.  They have decks that will fit many styles.  Some of the pro skaters that skate Plan B are Ryan Sheckler, Paul Rodriguez Jr., Colin McKay, Pat Duffy, and PJ Ladd.
  2. Girl: Founded in August 1993.  The company has a very diverse background and under its distribution they have two different skateboard deck companies.  There is Girl and Chocolate.  Each company puts out good quality decks and if you are buying a Chocolate deck then you are really buying a Girl Board.  Notable riders are Eric Koston, Brian Anderson, Rick Howard, and Mike Carroll.
  3. Enjoi:  Enjoi is a skateboard company that is distributed all over the world.  The international skateboard company primarily sells decks and they range in the type of decks they sell.  It also has one of the most noticeable logos being a panda.
  4. Birdhouse:  Birdhouse was founded in 1992.  Birdhouse is ridden by two of the most notable skaters in the world—Tony Hawk and Shaun White.  This company was made to further skateboarding and aims to popularize the sport.  It is a company that puts out decks for all kinds of skaters.
  5. Element:  One of the most popular modern board companies.  It became mainstream as Bam Margera started appearing on MTV.  It has many talented skaters that ride their decks.  The list includes Bucky Lasek, Chad Muska, and Bam Margera.  They produce high quality decks that have interesting designs and are sturdy boards.
