Chill a hot summer day by learning how to make 5 cocktails with watermelon. Watermelon makes a refreshing cocktail when juiced, chilled, and mixed with alcohol. Mix up a refreshing watermelon cocktail tonight.

Watermelon Champagne Cocktail

To make watermelon champagne cocktails, you will need:

  • 5 cups watermelon, cubed
  • ¼ cup fresh mint
  • ½ cup Vodka
  • ¼ cup triple sec
  • Lime, juiced
  • 1/3 cup Champagne

Steps

  1. Prepare watermelon. Place 5 cups of watermelon and ¼ cup fresh mint in the blender on high. Strain and measure 2 cups. Chill for 30 to 40 minutes.
  2. Mix the ingredients. Add vodka, triple sec, lime juice, and a cup of ice to the watermelon juice and stir.
  3. Watermelon Champagne cocktail. Fill a chilled glass with ice. Pour into the glass 1/3 cup watermelon mixture and stir. Add 1/3 cup Champagne and stir gently. Garnish with lime slices and watermelon cubes.

Watermelon Tequila Cocktails

To make watermelon tequila cocktails, you will need:

  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1 cup mint leaves
  • Lime, juiced
  • 8 cups seedless watermelon, diced
  • 1 ¼ cups tequila

Steps

  1. Prepare ingredients for watermelon Tequila cocktails. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cool. Wash and drain 2 cups fresh blueberries. Wash and separate 1 cup fresh mint leaves. Juice 1 lime. Dice 8 cups of seedless watermelon.
  2. Place the watermelon in a blender on high and blend until smooth. Strain the watermelon into a container.
  3. Add lime juice, blueberries, and mint leaves to the dissolved sugar. Gently crush some of the blueberries and all of the mint leaves into the sugar syrup with a wooden spoon and into a large pitcher. Add the watermelon mixture and tequila. Stir and refrigerate for 2 hours. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the watermelon Tequila cocktail. Garnish with mint leaves.

Watermelon Gin Fizz

To make a watermelon gin fizz, you will need:

  • 8 cups of seedless watermelon, diced
  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ cups Gin

Steps

  1. Prepare ingredients for a watermelon Gin fizz. Combine and watermelon mint in the blender. Blend high. Strain and measure out 2 cups of watermelon juice. Boil ½ cup of sugar and ½ cup water in a small sauce pan. Cool. Mix the cooled syrup, the juice of 1 lemon, and watermelon juice together and refrigerate until chilled.
  2. Mix a watermelon Gin fizz. Combine Gin and the watermelon mixture and stir. Pour over ice in a chilled glass and garnish with mint leaves.

Watermelon Martini

To make watermelon martinis, you will need:

  • 5 cups of seedless watermelon, cubed
  • Lime, juiced
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cups water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons salt
  • ½ cup Vodka

Steps

  1. Prepare ingredients for a watermelon martini. Place in the blender on high until smooth then strain. Juice a lime. Combine sugar and water in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Cool.
  2. Prepare the martini glass. Mix salt and sugar on a plate. Wet the edge of a martini glass with a cube of watermelon and dip the rim to coat.
  3. Mix the martini. Place 1 cup watermelon juice, Vodka, and ¼ cup syrup in a cocktail shaker. Cover with ice and shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with watermelon wedges.

Tuaca Watermelon Splash

To make a Tuaca watermelon splash, you will need:

  • 1 cup seedless watermelon, cubed.
  • ¾ Tuaca
  • 1 ½ ounce Tequila
  • 2 ounces Sweet and Sour mix

Steps

  1. Juice the watermelon. Cut seedless watermelon into cubes (about 1 cup). Place in the blender on high until smooth and strain.
  2. Mix a Tuaca Watermelon Splash cocktail. Add 1 cup watermelon juice, Tuaca, Tequila, and sweet and sour mix to a cocktail shaker and cover with ice. Shake well and serve in a chilled martini glass. Garnish with watermelon cubes.

Tips: Chill your cocktail glasses ahead of time in the freezer. Quality makes a difference, so use quality liquor.
