Here are 5 easy appetizers for thanksgiving. The best appetizers do not have to be difficult to make. Frequently, the tastiest appetizers are the most simple to make. Here are five easy appetizers for Thanksgiving that will be easy on you and your budget.

Pineapple and Cheese – This is a healthy, easy appetizer for Thanksgiving.

  • 2 16 oz cans of pineapple chunks
  • 1 lb Colby cheese
  • Toothpicks
  1. Dice Colby into one inch cubes.
  2. Place one piece of pineapple on toothpick, and add one cube of cheese to the toothpick. Place on serving tray.
  3. Repeat with the rest of the cheese and pineapple.
  4. Serve.

Crackers with cheese and ham – An easy appetizer for Thanksgiving.

  • 1 box Crackers (Ritz, wheat thins, or regular saltines will do)
  • 1 lb. Mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. Sliced ham
  1. Cut ham into squares.
  2. Layer ham and cheese on cracker.
  3. Place on serving tray. Serve.

Fresh Vegetable tray – An easy and healthy appetizer for Thanksgiving.

  • Baby carrots
  • Celery
  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Vegetable dip
  1. Wash vegetables, remove stems, and allow drying.
  2. Cut celery into three inch pieces.
  3. Break broccoli and cauliflower into small florettes.
  4. Place on serving tray with dip. You can keep the vegetables in orderly rows or make pictures with them. You will best be able to judge your abilities and timeframe.

Vegetable dip – A very easy appetizer for Thanksgiving.

  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 1C.  Mayonnaise
  • 2 T. Curry
  1. Mix all ingredients together and allow to set for at least two hours; overnight is better.

Stuffed celery – An easy appetizer for Thanksgiving that children can do.

  • 2 bunches of celery
  • 1 C. peanut butter
  • 1 pkg. onion and chive flavored cream cheese
  • 1 pkg. vegetable flavored cream cheese

Any flavor cream cheese you like can be used on the celery; these are just the most popular. This is another easy appetizer for Thanksgiving.

  1. Clean celery and cut into three inch pieces.
  2. Allow celery to dry completely or the cream cheese will not stick.
  3. With butter knife, fill some celery with cream cheese and some with peanut butter.
  4. Place on serving tray. Serve.
