1. Shrimp spread

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz package cream cheese
  • teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 oz can shrimp
  1. Combine cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, shrimp.
  2. Mix until a creamy, thick dip and serve with crackers.

2. Ham rolls

Ingredients:

  • Package of sandwich ham
  • 8 oz package of cream cheese
  1. Spread cream cheese on individual pieces of ham.
  2. Roll up the ham with the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Make 1/2 inch slices.
  4. Poke a toothpick in them to secure.

3. Potato skins

Ingredients

  • 6 Potatoes
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Chives
  • Bacon
  1. Microwave 6 potatoes for about 10 minutes on high.
  2. Poke a hole in them with a fork to see if the middle is soft showing that they are done.
  3. Let cool then cut in half.
  4. Remove the potato middle leaving the skin intact. You do not want to destroy the shape of the potato since you will be filling them.
  5. Fill the skins with ingredients such as cheddar cheese, chives or bacon.
  6. Bake in the oven at 325 for 10 minutes and serve with sour cream.

4. Jalapeno poppers

Ingredients:

  • 1 dozen jalapenos
  • 8 oz package cream cheese
  • 12 slices of bacon
  1. Cut jalapenos in half.
  2. Remove the seeds for a mild taste.
  3. Fill the middle with cream cheese.
  4. Wrap in bacon slice cut in half
  5. Secure with a toothpick.
  6. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes until the bacon is done.

5. Spiced pecans

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of pecans
  • Cup of melted butter
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  1. Shell 2 cups of pecans or buy them already shelled.
  2. Mix them with melted butter.
  3. Toast until they are a golden color.
  4. Drain on a paper towel to remove the extra butter.
  5. Combine 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg.
  6. Toss the pecans in and make sure they are coated with this mixture.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes.
