5 Easy Father's Day Breakfast Recipes

These 5 easy Father's Day breakfast recipes are all about making a great day start out even better. These breakfast recipes are easy so that your kids can help out in the kitchen! They're fun for the entire family—without dad, of course!

Father's Day Blueberry Muffins

You will need:

  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease the muffin pan.
  2. In a bowl, sprinkle a quarter cup of flour onto the blueberries and stir.
  3. In another bowl, whisk two cups of flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. In another bowl, cream margarine. Mix a little bit of the sugar at the time. Beat the eggs and stir them in into creamed mixture, along with vanilla. 
  5. Stir in milk and the flour mixture, being sure to mix well with each addition.
  6. Fold in blueberries and fill the muffin cups two-thirds full with the batter. Bake for 25 minutes. 

Baked Pancakes and Sausages Breakfast

You will need:

  • 1 lb. pork sausage links
  • 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 5 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp. shortening (melted)
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease a jellyroll pan.
  2. Place the sausages in a deep skillet. Cook over medium heat until they are brown and drain the oil.
  3. In a bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
  4. Beat eggs until fluffy. Add milk and shortening. Mix well.
  5. Slowly stir in the dry ingredients until smooth. Pour the batter into jellyroll pan. Arrange sausage on top of batter. Bake for fifteen minutes in the oven.

Father's Day Hamburger Hash

You will need:

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil (separated)
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 small green pepper, seeded and chopped into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 1 small red pepper, seeded and chopped into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 1 can diced potatoes, rinsed and drained
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Warm olive oil in medium saucepan. Add ground beef until cooked through and drain.
  2. Add the other tablespoon of oil to pan. Saute onion, green peppers and red peppers.
  3. Add potatoes and garlic to the vegetables. Add salt and pepper to taste—this will all depend on how your father likes his breakfast.
  4. Add beef to hash mixture. Cook on one side until caramelized; repeat on other side. Remove from heat and serve. 

Father's Favorite Breakfast Pies

You will need:

  • 3/4 lb. breakfast sausage
  • 1/8 cup minced onion
  • 1/8 cup minced green bell pepper
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 3 tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a deep skillet, combine sausage, onion and green pepper. Cook over medium-high heat until sausage is evenly brown. Drain and crumble.
  2. Separate the dough into ten biscuits. Flatten each biscuit and line the bottom and side of muffin cups. Evenly distribute sausage mixture between the cups.
  3. Mix eggs and milk together, then split that between the cups.
  4. Sprinkle tops of cups with shredded cheese. Bake in the oven for eighteen to twenty minutes.

Father's Day Apple Puff Pancakes

You will need:

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • Icing sugar
  • Maple syrup
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Put butter in a deep dish pie plate of a square baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the eggs, milk and vanilla, beating it with an electric mixer until foamy.
  3. In another bowl, stir the flour, sugar and cinnamon. Add this to the egg mixture and beat until smooth.
  4. Put the pie plate/baking dish into the oven to let the butter melt. Take out and evenly coat the butter.
  5. Arrange the apple slices evenly on the surface of the dish and pour the batter on top.
  6. Place in the oven to bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Dust with icing sugar before cutting.
