 Easy Cauliflower With Garlic Crumbs Home Cooking Recipe

  • 2 ½ cups vegetable stock
  • 1 large cauliflower
  • 8 tbs. olive oil
  • 2 ¼ cups breadcrumbs
  • 5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced or chopped
  • salt and pepper
  1. Pour the vegetable stock into a large pan, and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add the salt and the cauliflower florets.
  3. Bring to a simmer, until the florets are tender, and drain well.
  4. Saute the bread crumbs in olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat until brown and crisp.
  5. Add the garlic, combining well.
  6. Set aside the breadcrumbs and garlic.
  7. Saute the cauliflower in the pan until golden.
  8. Pour the garlic breadcrumbs over the cauliflower, until well combined.
  9. Season with salt and pepper, and serve.

 Easy Home Orange and Olive Salad Cooking Recipe

  • 5 large oranges, cubed
  • ½ cup black pitted olives, slice
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbs. fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tbs. fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small lettuce, leaves cut into segments

 Dressing

  • 4 tbs. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. white vinegar
  • the rind of a whole orange, grated
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • salt and pepper 
  1. Combine the salad ingredients in a large bowl, mixing well. Set aside
  2. Mix the dressing ingredients well in a small container.
  3. Pour the dressing onto the salad, cover, and let it cool in the refrigerator.

Home Cooking Easy Pea Soup With Garlic Recipe

  • 2 tbs. olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 8 cups (2 lb.)  frozen peas
  • 5 cups vegetable broth
  • 2 tbs. soy margarine
  • salt and pepper
  1. Saute the garlic with the olive oil in a large saucepan for two or three minutes, or until soft.
  2. Add the peas and cook for two more minutes, stirring well.
  3. Pour in the broth, and bring the soup to a boil, reducing the heat to a simmer.
  4. Cover and cook for five to six minutes, until the peas are tender.
  5. Let it cool slightly, then transfer the mixture to a food processor or blender, and process until smooth.
  6. Return the soup to the pan, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Stir in the soy margarine and serve it hot or cold.

Easy Home Cooking Mocha Coffee

  • 1 ½ cups hot freshly brewed coffee
  • 2 tbs. chocolate syrup
  • 2 scoops chocolate ice cream
  • whipped cream
  • ground cinnamon 
  1. Pour the coffee into two mugs.
  2. Add one tbs. chocolate syrup into each mug, stirring well.
  3. Place one scoop of chocolate ice cream on top of the coffee.
  4. Top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

 Easy Home Cooking Baked Tomatoes Recipe

  • 6 large ripe tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tbs. olive oil
  • 4 slices whole-wheat bread
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ tbs. oregano
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Place the tomatoes in a baking pan, season with salt, pepper, oregano, and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Bake for about fifteen to twenty minutes, or until the tomatoes’ edges turn brown.
  4. Serve on toasted whole wheat bread.
