Grilled Lamb Chops


  • 5 lamb chops
  • 3 Tablespoons of virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of dried rosemary
  • 1/2 Tablespoon of Sage
  • Salt and Pepper
  1. Mix the olive oil, rosemary, sage, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Place the lamb chops on a tray and brush the marinade on top of each lamb chop.
  2. Let the lamb chops sit in the refrigerator for one to two hours covered. Place the marinated lamb chops on a hot grill and cook until brown and done.
  3. Remove the lamb chops from the grill and allow to sit for twenty minutes before cutting into. Serve these wonderful grilled lamb chops with some steak fries.


Grilled Lamb Chops With Caramelized Onions


  • 5 lamb chops
  • 1 bottle of barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon of virgin olive oil
  1. Brush each lamb chop with barbeque sauce. Add the seasoning and place on a hot grill to cook.
  2. In a medium size skillet put the olive oil and heat. Add the very thinly sliced onions and cook until caramelized.
  3. When the lamb chops are cooked on both sides, let the chops sit covered with foil for twenty minutes. After twenty minutes put the lamb chops on a oval platter and layer the caramelized onions on top. This easy lamb chop recipe can be served with a large baked potato with sour cream and chives.


Baked Lamb Chops


  • 5 lamb chops
  • 300 grams of button mushrooms
  • 1 Tablespoon of butter
  • 1 Tablespoon of virgin olive oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced very thinly
  • Salt and pepper.
  1. In a medium size skillet, add in the butter and oil. After the butter is melted, add in the sliced onions and mushrooms.
  2. Cook them till they are half way cooked or just a few minutes. In a large greased baking dish, lay the lamb chops flat.
  3. Season the chops with salt and pepper. Add the mushrooms and onions on top of the lamb chops.
  4. Add in 1/2 cup of water and cover the dish with foil. Bake in a hot 375 degree oven for 45 minutes.

  • 5 lamb chops
  • 2 Tablespoons of virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 small can on tomato paste
  • 1 small handful chopped parsley,
  • 1/2 teaspoon each – oregano, cumin and curry
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 3 cups of water
  1. In a large cast iron skillet put in the olive oil. Brown the lamb chops on each side.
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients. Mix the ingredients around and place a lid on top.
  3. Bake the lamb chops in a preheated 350 degree oven for two hours. Serve this classic lamb chop recipe with rice pilaf.


Traditional Fried Lamb Chops


  • 5 lamb chops
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg plus 1 tablespoon milk
  • Salt, pepper and curry
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  1. Place the flour in a plate and add in the seasoning. In a small bowl beat the egg and milk together.
  2. Dip the pork chop in the egg mixture and then in the flour mixture. Let the coated lamb chops sit for ten minutes before frying.
