Learning 5 extreme snowboarding tricks is no easy task. Snowboarding requires many hours of training under the watchful eye of a professional teacher. Never attempt any of the tricks on this list without proper training and supervision.

  1. The Overhead Corkscrew. One of the most extreme snowboarding tricks is the overhead corkscrew. The trick is accomplished by beginning a traditional heels over head loop and twisting the body mid trick. The body is twisted from the waist down causing the full twist to occur in the upside down position. As the board comes back to the front of the body, the boarder then bends slightly at the waist to bring the feet downward and to the ground.  This trick is to never be attempted without extreme snowboarding training. Before attempting this trick, one must have a full grasp of full body loops and corkscrews.
  2. Back 50/50. One of the deceiving extreme snowboarding tricks is the Back 50/50. Appearing simplistic, the first 180 jump landing the boarder backwards is easy enough, but when the reverse 180 is added immediately to the mix, the trick becomes extreme in difficulty. Extreme snowboarders should master a simple 180 before attempting this trick.
  3. Forward Flip. Completing a full flip in forward motion makes the list of extreme snowboarding tricks. This trick defies the laws of motion. As the boarder heads forward, he must jump and propel his body forward against the flow of motion. This is usually done with a bend at the waist and tuck of the head down to the chest. Beginners should never attempt this trick as it can result in a broken neck or back.
  4. 270 Gap. One of the extreme snowboarding tricks performed across gaps, the 270 Gap is performed with a back turning motion between spots of ground. As the boarder takes off from one level, he spins the board backwards one and 1/2 times before landing on the next level.
  5. Dual Blowout. Squeaking in at the end of the list of extreme snowboarding tricks is the Dual Blowout. This trick is perform by swinging the body completely horizontal to one side, then swinging completely horizontal to the other.
