5 Famous Dominican Baseball Players

The 5 famous Dominican baseball players here only scratch the surface.  Dominican players in the MLB have been seen throughout the years of the league, and there are quite a number of very good Dominican players in the league, past and present.  These five famous Dominican baseball players are some of today's best players.

  1. Albert Pujols.  Albert Pujols is known as one of the best Dominican baseball players today.  Most believe that he is the best all-around player in the MLB today.  His tremendous hitting skills have proved Pujols to be quite a force in the Cardinals lineup.  Of course he also possesses great defensive ability as well.
  2. Vladimir Guerrero.  Another all-around great Dominican baseball player, Guerrero is a feared hitter in the MLB.  His powerful bat is matched by one of the best throwing arms in the game as well.
  3. Alfonso Soriano.  Known primarily for his hitting skills, Soriano is another great Dominican baseball player in the game today.  Soriano has seen a few different positions and team in his career.
  4. David Ortiz.  Ortiz, otherwise known as "Big Papi," is another feared Dominican baseball hitter in the game.  He is known for his designated hitter role for the Boston Red Sox.
  5. Manny Ramirez.  Ramirez was known for his stint with Ortiz in the powerful Red Sox lineup, but has moved on with the Dodgers currently.  Ramirez is known mainly for his powerful hitting skills, as evident in his illustrious career.
