- The Fire Hydrant. To do the Fire Hydrant, a popular flatlanding BMX trick, you will need to be moving slowly on your bike. You will put your right foot on the left back peg and your left foot on the left front peg. You will then quickly hit the front brake, push yourself off of the back peg, and swing out in front of the bike. Once you let go the brake, swing your right leg out behind you and pull on the handlebars so that the back of the bike goes up. Using the handlebars, swing the bike back around and keep on riding.
-
The Infinity Roll. The Infinity Roll is an easy flatlanding BMX trick. To begin this trick, start off with one of your feet on the corresponding back peg. Using your other foot, push off backwards and use that foot to scuff the bike tire backwards in circles. By keeping your handlebars at a 45-degree angle, you will be able to continue in circles. You will want to keep your finger on the brake at all times to avoid going out of control.
- The Tailwhip. The Tailwhip is a BMX flatlanding trick that is of moderate difficulty. To perform this trick, you will need to be moving on the bike. Put your right foot over the top handlebar and stick that same foot into the fork of the bike. You will then hit the front brake, and kick the bike around using your left foot. Use your right foot to balance on the tire, and when the bike spins around, catch it with your right foot.
- The Flinky-sunder. The Flinky-sunder is the final flatlanding BMX trick on our list. You will want to be moving at a slow speed on your bike for this trick. Put both of your feet on the front pegs and slam on the front brakes, which will make the back of the bike go up in the air. Take your feet off of the pegs and spin the back of the bike around 180 degrees. While the bike is spinning around, jump over the handlebars and sit on them. After the bike has done the 180 degree spin, catch it with your feet and you will now be riding backwards.
