5 Foods That Stop Diarrhea

While it is often a good idea to let your body work through a case of diarrhea on its own, sometimes you just need to get out of the bathroom and get on with your life. These are foods that can help:

  1. Bananas. Bananas are high in fiber in the form of pectin, a water soluble fiber that can help stop diarrhea. They are also a good source of potassium, which your body may be low on after an extended bout with the runs. They are also very easy to digest, giving your body the energy it needs to get well.
