5 Halloween Drink Recipes
These 5 Halloween drinks will give your guests an extra treat at one of the busiest celebrations of the year, creating the right spooky atmosphere to enjoy your party.
Bleeding Muppet
Ingredients:
- 1 oz of tequila
- 1/4 oz of grenadine
- Pour the ingredients into a shot glass.
- Cover the glass with a cloth napkin, folded several times to make it thicker.
- Hit the glass against a table twice.
- Drink the shot in a single gulp. Usually, guests take turns enjoying the muppets, but, generally, only a few participants can take more than 5. This way of drinking adds an amusing touch to your Halloween party. If you prefer something less sweet, try the original muppet recipe but substitute grenadine with ¼ oz of grapefruit juice.
Variation - Although this is not a muppet, it is the traditional way to drink a shot of tequila: squeeze the juice of a fresh lime on your tongue, add a pinch of salt (yes, on your tongue), then, drink the whole shot of tequila quickly. An ideal Halloween drink to enjoy with your guests.
