  3. Eating Well for a Healthy Heart Cookbook. One aspect of this book that sets it apart from others is that it is written by a cardiologist. This adds on to its credibility as well ease of understanding. There are more than 150 kitchen tested recipes in this book that will more than likely leave you satisfied. 
  4. The Diabetes and Heart Healthy Cookbook. This book is great because it not only covers recipes that are good for your health, but it also gives recipes that are good for people who are inflicted with or at risk of diabetes. This book has hundreds of recipes that are low fat and low on carbohydrates.
  5. The Healthy Heart Cookbook. If you are looking for hundreds of recipes, this is the book for you. It has about 700 heart healthy recipes that range from appetizers to vegetarian dishes. The author, Joseph Piscatella, has written several other healthy cookbooks and is respected in the medical field.
