Jello Christmas Holiday Salad Recipe
- 1 Gala apple, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 small can of crushed pineapple, drained
- 1-2 handfuls of mini marshmallows
- 3 boxes of strawberry jello
Steps
- Prepare jello as per instructions on box. Add the mini marshmallows to the warm jello mixture. Stir. Allow to cool.
- Add fruits to the jello mixture. Refrigerate. Top with cream or garnish with chocolate shavings as desired.
Thanksgiving Holiday Salad Recipe
- roasted pumpkin seeds
- lettuce (any type or use spinach)
- mozzarella cheese
- sliced onion
- sliced mushroom
- shredded carrot
- balsamic vinegar and oil
Steps
- Combine all ingredients except cheese, vinegar and oil in a large bowl. Toss. Sprinkle cheese on top. Serve with balsamic vinegar and oil on the side.
Holiday Cranberry Salad Recipe
- dried cranberries
- salad or spinach leaves, ripped into pieces
- feta cheese
- mushrooms
- balsamic vinegar and oil
Steps
- Toss ingredients. Add balsamic vinegar and oil to taste.
Turkey Salad
- lettuce, shredded
- 1 cup of celery, chopped
- 3 cups turkey breast, cooked and chopped
- 4 cups of Monterey Jack, shredded
- 4 tbsp. green onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- lettuce leaves or bread
Steps
- Mix all ingredients together except the bread or lettuce leaves. Refrigerate for up to an hour before serving. Serve on bread or lettuce leaves for a great holiday salad recipe made from left overs.
Ham Salad
- 2 cups ham, cooked and chopped ( honey roasted ham will have a different flavor but can be used)
- 1/2 cup of celery, chopped or diced
- 2 teaspoon of onion, finely chopped
