5 NFL Twitterers You Need to Follow
Many NFL players are using Twitter these days, and most are quite entertaining to follow—some players are better on the field, and similarly some players have more entertaining Tweets—so here are five NFL Twitterers you need to follow:
- Larry Fitzgerald - Arizona Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald's Twitter homepage is filled almost entirely with messages and responses to fans. There probably isn't another NFL player who replies to so many questions while also providing insider views on the NFL. The best part of Fitzgerald's Twitter page is Larry Knows. Larry Knows is a series of random quizzes where whoever replies first with the correct answer receives autographed gear. http://twitter.com/Lfitzgerald11
- Chase Daniel - New Orleans Saints Despite being a rookie quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, Chase Daniel has built up quite the following on Twitter. His enthusiasm for the game shows clearly in his posts, and he provides some great insight on what being a rookie in the NFL is like. Even though he has yet to play a game, his attitude is unwaveringly positive with his circumstances and all his fans. http://twitter.com/ChaseDaniel
- Ryan Grant - Green Bay Packers Ryan Grant is a funny guy, plain and simple. His rants on Green Bay's cold weather are reason enough to follow him on Twitter. He also jokes around frequently with fellow Notre Dame alum and NFL player Tom Zbikowski. While he interacts more with fellow NFL players than fans, Grants has a Twitter account definitely worth following. http://twitter.com/RyanGrant25
- Shawne Merriman - San Diego Chargers Shawne Merriman is one of the most outspoken NFL players on Twitter. His views are not always the most popular, but he is passionate about them. The best part is Merriman's ongoing playful feud with the player at number one on this list. Reading the back and forth jabs between the two provides hours of entertainment as they try and prove which one of them is the best fantasy player. http://twitter.com/shawnemerriman
- Chad Ochocinco - Cincinnati Bengals Chad Ochocinco has learned how to use Twitter perfectly. He posts pictures of his crazy antics, talks trash to players around the league, responds to those who have talked trash against him, and generally provides entertainment for his followers. He also talks with fans frequently, letting them know where he will be and sometimes even asking for rides. There might not be a more attention seeking player in the NFL, but Ochocinco repays that attention with a very amusing Twitter page. http://twitter.com/OGOchoCinco
