  1. Text Messages. When writing a text message on your Nokia 6263, it is easy to navigate through the various character and number modes. To switch to "Abc", or "abc", or "ABC", press the "#" key until you have selected the character case that you need to use. To switch to numeric characters, press and hold the "#" key, and select "Number" mode from the menu that appears.
  2. Bookmarks. Your Nokia 6263 allows you to browse the web. Just as you would on your personal computer, you can set up bookmarks on your Nokia 6263. To bookmark the web page that you are currently viewing, select "Options", then "Bookmarks". Scroll to an available bookmark slot and select "OK" to store that web page in that slot.

A list of instant messaging services that are compatible with your Nokia 6263 will appear. Select the service that you wish to use and enter your username and password. After you have entered your information, select "Sign On" to begin chatting.
  5. Email. You can set up your email account on your Nokia 6263. To set up an email account, go to "Menu", then "Messaging", then "Email". Select the provider in which you have your email account with and then read and accept the terms of use. You will then be prompted to enter your username and password. Keep in mind that your password is case sensitive.
