5 Signs She Is A Lesbian

It can be hard to determine the sexual orientation of a person so here are 5 signs that she could be a lesbian. Many people often assume a person’s sexual orientation based solely on outer appearance, but those assumptions are not always correct. Acting or dressing like a tomboy does not necessarily mean that a woman is a lesbian. In fact, not all lesbians are butch (more masculine in appearance and style).

  1. Pay attention to non-verbal signs. A woman’s body language can be very telling. Pay attention to if she goes out of her way to flirt, make eye contact, or show signs of affection toward other women. These are slightly obvious signs that she might be a lesbian.

  2. Lesbian paraphernalia. Many symbols are associated with lesbianism. For instance, the rainbow flag and various types of female gender symbols are major representations of lesbian pride. If a woman has possession of any of these items, than that may be a sign that she is a lesbian.

  3. Opposites do not always attract. When a woman is attracted to the same sex, she may avoid dating or mingling with her male counterparts, unless of course they are strictly acquaintances. If a woman seems to be more comfortable interacting solely with women, then it is a likely sign that she is a lesbian.

  4. Find out her history. If the opportunity ever arises, start a conversation about past relationships (good or bad.) Try not to maker her feel uncomfortable and she may leave hints or signs that she has been in a same-sex relationship. Remember, it is never a good idea to be critical if she chooses to reveal that she is in fact a lesbian.

  5. Exercise good judgment. Sometimes intuition can be very accurate and often times a person can figure out if a woman is a lesbian. Be sure to pay attention to a woman’s actions as it may unveil signs of her being a lesbian.

Even if there are signs that she is a lesbian, the only way of really knowing whether it is true is if she decides to make it known.
