5 Snowboard Rail Tricks
When you really want to start having a fun time on your snowboard, the best way is to learn these 5 snowboard rail tricks. Once a snowboarder has the basics down and can get down a slope without cartwheeling the whole way down, the next logical step in your snowboarding advancement is mastering some simple rail tricks. This works out great because the best snowboard rail tricks are made up of both relatively easy tricks and ones that are a little more complex.
- The Five-0 grind is the best place to start. Anyone who can do a wheelie can do this grind. All you do is a wheelie on a rail. It's one of the easiest rail tricks to do, but also one of the most fun.
- The 50-50 grind is an easy, fun grind to learn. Probably, this is the easiest snowboard rail trick to learn. The snowboard parallel grinds on top of the rail in this rail trick.
- The Rock-and-Roll grind is another great snowboard rail trick. It is the opposite of the 50-50, but it is just as easy to pull off. In this snowboard rail trick, the snowboard is ollied onto the rail and then turned perpendicular on the rail as you ride through the grind.
- The frontslide noseslide is one of the five best snowboard rail tricks. This trick can be a bit more difficult, and before trying it, you should be comfortable with sliding backward. The trick is simply sliding backwards with the nose or front part of your board, but it is a lot more difficult than it sounds.
- Then last, but not least, the nosepress is a great snowboard rail trick. It has a lot in common with your typical noseslides, but the nosepress will have you getting on the rail with the front of your board and pressing down as much as you can to get the back end of the board pushed way up into the air with all your pressure being on the frontside.
