Here are 5 tips for getting rid of body odor that everyone should know. Having body odor is not uncommon, but getting rid of it can be hard to do. Try some or all of these tips for getting rid of body odor and see if they work for you.

To get rid of body odor you will need:

  • Soap and water
  • Washcloth
  • Deodorant
  • Body and foot powder
  • Antibacterial soap
  1. Shower at least once every day. This is one of the easiest ways you can find for getting rid of body odor. If you only like to take a shower every other day, this is one of the reasons you may be having problems. Some people shower in the morning before they go to school or work, then they shower again before they go to bed. Wash with soap and a washcloth each time you take a shower, and make sure you hit all of the areas of your body.
  2. Try using an antibacterial soap for getting rid of body odor. If your regular soap is not doing a good job, buy some special antibacterial soap and see if it helps. Use a body powder and see if that helps. You can also ask one of your friends what kind of soap or powder they use if you never notice them having a problem with body odor.
  3. Changing your eating habits makes getting rid of body odor easier. Foods that have a lot of garlic in them can make your body odor more noticeable. Cutting down on coffee that has caffeine in it is another way to try and get rid of body odor. Get rid of some of the foods that you normally eat and see if you notice any improvement.
  4. Your feet are one of the hardest parts of your body to deodorize. This is true of all people so do not be ashamed if you have trouble with foot odor. Wash your feet thoroughly whenever you shower, and use spray or powder in your shoes. You should also get rid of old shoes if they are part of the problem.
  5. Exercising more is another way of getting rid of body odor. Sweating helps you detoxify your body and can help you get rid of odor. One thing to watch out for is the shoes you wear when you exercise. Make sure they are clean inside and out or you will have problems with foot odor.
