  1. Know your opponent before getting into the ring with them. Learn your opponents weaknesses by watching their fight videos if there are any available. If there are no videos available, ask around, others may know your opponents weaknesses. Make a note that your opponent may also be aware of your weaknesses. So keep your guard.
  2. Train hard before walking into the ring. Without training you will just be destined to fail. Cardiovascular workouts, such as running or bicycling, will help keep you from becoming fatigued in the ring. Keep at the training, and do not skimp on your workouts.
  3. If you're not talented enough, or ready to be a cage fighter do not get in the cage just yet. If you keep getting beat up during your practice, it is usually a sign that you are not ready for any cage fighting, and under no circumstances should you walk into the ring. You will get hurt.
  4. Make sure you have an experienced coach. It's good to have someone who knows what they are talking about on your corner.
  5. Give it all you have, do not hold anything back. In order to come out a winner, you have to push yourself like one. Stay motivated, and even if you lose, do not give up on yourself.
