Chocolate Truffle. Thick and silky, this shake is the perfect answer to those chocolate cravings, and can serve as a delight indulgence.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup fresh or frozen strawberries or raspberries
  • 1/2 C silken tofu, chilled
  • 1/2 C coconut, almond or skim milk.
  • 2-3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Ice, if desired.

Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

Berries and Cream. This smoothie is wonderful for breakfast or a mid-morning pick-me-up. Sweet and fruity, it’s pack with lots of vitamins and low on fat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 C fresh or frozen berries. Strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries work well.
  • 1/2 C Milk of choice
  • 1/2 C Non fat plain or vanilla yogurt.
  • Honey to taste.
  • Blend until smooth.

Tropical Retreat. This little treat adds many tropical flavors into one delicious smoothie suitable for an evening on the patio or a mini break anytime during the day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 C soy or almond milk
  • 2 C pineapple juice
  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp non fat dry milk
  • Ice
  • 1/2 tablespoon coconut essence

Blend together until desired smoothie consistency is reached. Top with an umbrella for an extra festive treat. Weight Watchers Points: 5

Tip: coconut essence or pure extract contains full flavor and is a healthier alternative than imitation coconut flavoring. 

Season’s Greetings. This smoothie is really great to have around the holidays, and even serve at parties or any occasion. It can also be made all year round for a special reminder of holiday joys.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4-1/2 C Almond, soy, or non fat milk
  • 1 C pure pumpkin puree (Not pumpkin pie filling!)
  • 1Tsp cinnamon
  • 3-4 dashes ginger powder
  • 3-4 dashes nutmeg
  • Stevia or honey to taste
  • 1 Tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice

Blend all ingredients except ice until smooth and creamy, then blend in ice until desired consistency.

Weight Watchers Points: 5

Good Morning Sunshine. This fruity smoothie is packed with all the fruits associated with breakfast, and lots of vitamin C to start the day off right.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 5-10 fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1/2  banana
  • 1/2 C Skim milk

Blend all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed and serve.
