When you think about running shoes, Adidas running shoes might not be the first brand that comes to mind. Maybe you didn't even know that Adidas made running shoes. Adidas actually makes quite a few running shoes and they were the official running shoe of the 2010 Boston Marathon. Aside from the fact that Adidas uses kangaroo leather in some of their shoes, Adidas does make a quality trainer. Regardless of what kind of runner you are; normal, pronator, or supinator, Adidas probably has a shoe that will work for you. Learn more about about Adidas running shoes.

  1. If you are a normal runner, Adidas gives you many options. One of the most popular Adidas running shoes is the Supernova Glide 2. This running shoe is lightly cushioned with a type of memory foam and will be a good fit for medium sized to larger runners. Lighter runners would benefit from the Adistar Boston. This shoe is responsive and very lightweight at 233 grams. The Adistar Boston could be used as a daily trainer or a racing flat.
  2. If you supinate, chose a cushioned Adidas running shoe. You need maximum shock absorption and a flexible midsole, the Adistar Ride provides cushioning and a smooth, comfortable ride. The midsole forms to the shape of your foot to promote natural responsiveness and comfort. This shoe is also very durable and can be used on the trail or on the road. This shoe also has "ClimaCool" to keep your feet from overheating and getting sweaty.
  3. Adidas makes great shoes for mild to moderate overpronators. If you are a severe overpronator, Adidas running shoes are probably not for you. If you are a moderate overpronator, you will be happy with the Supernova Sequence 2. This shoe offers stability without compromising comfort. The shoe is responsive and the dual midsole. This is a good shoe for average sized runners. If you are lighter or are looking for a racing shoe, you should try the AdiZero Tempo show. The Tempo shoe is super lightweight at 11.4 ounces. This shoe has a special "ForMotion" technology that helps you to propel your foot forward. This shoe is especially effective for competitive runners who are trying to improve their form to become faster.
