- Use an administrator account to log onto your computer. Go to the "Start Menu" and choose the "Control Panel" menu from the panel that opens up on the left-hand side.
- Double click on the option that says "Add or Remove Programs." Wait for the list to fully load then scroll down until you see where it says "Adobe Reader" and click on it. Select the "Change" button and this will prompt the Adobe setup window to open up on your computer. Select "Next" then select the button that says "Repair."
- Click on "Next" again then click on the button that says "Install" to begin repairing your Adobe Reader. It may take up to ten minutes to fully complete the repair.
